Chinsop Chong

Middle School Youth Director, Media Director

Chinsop was born in Seoul, Korea but moved to the states at a very young age.  He has lived in the most northern US State of Alaska, all the way down to the most southern state of Texas.  He moved to Texas to pursue his Masters of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014 and is now serving as the Middle School Director at GHC.

Chinsop was graciously saved at the age of 9 at a youth retreat, then was baptized a year later.  He has since committed his life to Jesus and following after him.  He is passionate about expository preaching and effectively communicating/teaching God's Word.  He also has a heart for biblical counseling, shepherding and guiding people into the fullness of God, that people would truly experience the peace of God and be made whole in him.

He is married (2024) to Lindsey, who he met at GHC.  He is always thankful to God for bring her into his life as they walk together on this journey to serve Jesus vocationally in the church.  He enjoys lifting weights, playing basketball, and definitely travels to eat.
