Sam Hwang

Worship Assistant

Sam grew up in the DFW area and attended the University of Texas at Austin where he initially met his wife, Sharon. After college their friendship grew and eventually got married in 2018. They have two boys, Bennett and Phineas, and are currently living in Frisco since 2020. 

Sam has served on a worship team from his youth days and continues to seek after God through praise. He leads the youth ministry in worship as well as helping guide and build future worship leaders in collaboration with the youth and worship directors. 

In his spare time, Sam enjoys the outdoors via camping, fishing, and roadtrips. He loves to cook and eat all types of food. He cheers on Texas Longhorn sports and is an avid Dallas sports fan.
